Volunteering with TriTogether gives you the opportunity to make a large impact in a small amount of time, virtually.

What does tutoring with TriTogether look like?

  • Tutoring sessions are around one hour a week

  • We ask that you commit to at least the student’s entire school year to avoid any more unnecessary interruptions in their education

  • Our students are all located in Massachusetts, but all sessions are held remotely, so our tutors can be anywhere in the United States

How does TriTogether prepare our tutors?

Throughout the interview process, we learn which topics and ages you feel most comfortable working with, your schedule, and anything else that would help us match you with a student. You would never be asked to tutor something that we don’t all agree you could confidently help with. The TriTogether team also works to prepare you for tutoring, teaching you trauma-informed strategies and helping with anything that would make you more effective.

Our tutors are a community of individuals who are passionate about education, equity, and being involved in the community. Regardless of whether you have experience teaching, we welcome you to apply. You can read more about our process in the resource hub.
